When I put these earrings on, my daughter Kathe asked why I chose them.
"No idea," I replied, hoping that a reason would occur to me justifying my choice of this hammered copper pair that I made a a couple of weeks ago.
"Well," she suggested, "two beads, like Grandma and Grandpa, and four spirals poking off of them, like their four kids. They'll all be together tonight."
So, I guess that's as good a reason as any! We spent a few hours with Grandma and Grandpa, Beth, John, Mark, and Eric, some spouses, some grandchildren, and even three of their four great-grandchildren. Those spirals are spinning off in ways that no one could ever have anticipated!
